Upon discovery that Adobe Systems would be releasing the latest version of their software, Creative Suite 3, I threw up in my mouth a little.

I was swapping hard drives in a couple of laptops the other day at work and I discovered this. On the right is a normal 2.5″ laptop hard drive. On the left is what could be the shape of things to come. This was pulled from an HP Compaq notebook.

One of the things that my technophobic boss is into is checking his e-mail using the totally outmoded online service CompuServe. I have been trying to wean him off of it for ages, but to no avail. Realizing I was fighting a war of attrition, I relented and decided to give CompuServe on Linux via WINE a try.

While having lunch with an officemate and my boss, my boss handed me a business card with something he wanted me to do on it. Upon looking at it, I discovered that my boss wanted me to install Ubuntu Linux onto his laptop computer. My jaw dropped immediately.

I was asked to investigate an indoor air quality problem at a friends house this weekend. My survey included taking psychrometric readings both inside the house and out, making notes of any signs of water intrusion as well as an allergen survey.
